Refund Policy

1. Return Window

We operate a strict 30-day return policy. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return for items purchased from Velvet Luden. Requests made after this window cannot be accommodated.

2. Eligible Items

To be eligible for a full refund, the board game must be returned in the exact condition you received it. This means the item must be unopened, with the original factory shrink wrap completely intact. Because of the complexity and high component count of our premium games, we cannot accept returns on opened products unless there is a critical manufacturing defect.

If you have opened the game and discovered a missing or damaged component (e.g., a broken miniature or missing token), please do not return the whole box. Contact us for a component replacement, which we will arrange free of charge directly from the publisher.

3. How to Return

To initiate a return, contact our concierge team at support@velvetluden.com with your order number. We will provide instructions and a return shipping address. Please ensure the game is packed securely, preferably in its original shipping materials, as you are responsible for any damage incurred during the return transit. The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

4. Refund Timeline

Once your return is received and inspected to ensure the shrink wrap is unbroken, we will send an email notification. Approved refunds are processed immediately and will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.

5. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are severely damaged in transit to you. For standard exchanges (e.g., you ordered the wrong game), you must return the unopened item for a refund and place a new order for the desired title.
